Description
The classic game of dropping discs down columns: get four in a line before your rival, across, down or diagonally.
An honest rival. The computer never cheats or rolls hidden dice: it sees what you see. Four levels, from Easy, which often slips up, to Expert, which hardly ever does. In Expert you always start, the side that can win with perfect play.
Hints that teach. If you get stuck, the hint marks a good column and tells you why: “if you don’t block here, your rival wins next move”.
The daily puzzle. A game halfway through, the same for everyone, where you must win in 3 moves (4 at weekends). You can also play with a friend on the same phone.
Genuinely calm. No ads, no purchases and no accounts. The computer thinks on your own device and your games stay there. In English, Spanish and Catalan.
How to play
Players take turns dropping a disc into one of the 7 columns, and it falls to the lowest free space. The first to get four discs of their colour in a line wins: across, down or diagonally. If the board fills up with no four in a line, it is a draw.
Tips to get started
- Play in the middle: the centre column is part of more lines than any other.
- Always watch your rival’s discs: if they have three in a line and a gap, block it.
- Look for two threats at once: your rival can only block one.
